Lutherans believe that the Christian Education of children is a key to faith development and one of our greatest responsibilities as parents, adults and as a congregation. That's why at Bethany , our Sunday Church School is a vibrant and exciting part of our ministry. With more than 100 students and some 20 volunteer teachers, aids and helpers each week, we are bringing God's word to His children in creative and fun ways.
We would like to invite your child(ren) to Sunday Church School at Bethany .
Children, from age 3 through 7th grade, typically have a lesson based on a Bible story, followed by an activity or craft project and music. If you don’t have a church home, we hope you will consider ours. Our newly renovated Sunday Church School wing and newly constructed facilities were designed with just this purpose in mind. We think you’ll be as excited as your children to join in the learning and fun each week at Bethany .
Our Sunday School begins on Rally Sunday each year - normally the third Sunday of September. This year, on September 16th and each week thereafter, all children will gather in the sanctuary at 9:15 am for a short opening worship and class assignments. The SCS session ends at 10:15 am each Sunday – just in time to join us for Worship at 10:30 am.
